Well done if you managed to make it to La Sagrada Familia and even better if you popped your head in the Picasso Museum, but here's where the real fun starts. The nightlife in Barcelona is deservedly legendary and many visitors come from far and wide to mingle in the designer, celeb-studded hotel bars and coctelerias of the Catalan capital, whilst others prefer simply to sink a few jarras in the city's down-to-earth cerveserias, bohemian cafes and surprisingly good Irish pubs. Later at night the cool kids of Catalonia will desert the boozers and head to the clubs (quaintly referred to in Barna as 'discotecas)', which stay open 'til dawn, and many of which offer all-night dancing under the stars during summer. Whether you fancy a quiet coffee in the Gothic quarter, a monster rave in the Raval district, or some glitz and glamour at the Port Olimpic, Barcelona Life has tracked down some of the most memorable watering holes in the city... salut!
