Irish pub that ticks all the right boxes
If you’re looking for everything you love about pubs back home, plus an outdoor terrace under the bright Mediterranean sun (the only Irish bar to have one in Barcelona!), you may have just found your perfect place. Flaherty’s opened its doors in 2001, and since then has been an international meeting point for ex-pats and tourists keen on a pint of Guinness, good company and some truly great pub grub.
An impressive range of beers (they have 13 on tap, plus more bottled varieties) is complemented by a menu of mouth-watering meals, such as pulled pork wraps, fish and chips, their famous full Irish breakfast and not forgetting their weekly Sunday Roast, a delicious gravy fest that is also a social occasion.
As you would expect from any self-respecting Irish pub, there’s live sports aplenty, whether you’re a football, ice hockey, rugby or tiddlywinks fan, on four quality plasma screens and four more giant projectors, whilst Flaherty’s also boasts free WiFi and a separate pool room.
Those looking for a good time can get the party started with Flaherty’s infamous 3 litre Beer Tower, which can also be repurposed into a Sangria Tower or Cocktail Tower, while the pub frequently offers special deals on food and drinks, such as 2-for-1 cocktails or Steak Tuesdays, so keep abreast with developments via their Facebook page (link on the right).

Flaherty's un buen local para tomar algo con los amigos mientras mirar algún partido. Además, es impresionante ya que siempre está lleno de gente y hace que el ambiente sea muy animado y divertido. A parte de esto,la comida está buenísima y los camareros son muy atentos, o almenos eso me pareció. Aconsejo a todo el mundo ir a Flahery's mínimo una vez y para conocer el ambiente! It’s a great place before going out cause you eat dinner there, have some drinks, meet with your friends and then head straight to the clubs. The location is perfect since it’s very central right at La Rambla, and basically next corner is Plaza Real with bars and clubs.6 years ago

I was in Barcelona last weekend with the company and I had a great time at your place. We was 28 drunken and noisy Norwegians who watched football on saturday and sunday (ManU on saturday and Liverpool on sunday) before we eat and drinked a little more. I've been in Madrid before but I think I come back to Barcelona again before I go to Madrid again and when I return to town I come to you again. I only met nice and friendly people at you place. This pub has good location just next to the Ramblas. Shows live football and serves good food. Has friendly bar staff and the atmosphere is buzzing…fun all round.6 years ago

Great pub!!.... Im here in Barcelona for 2 months and so far its the best Irish bar in town. I suggest you try the burgers... mmmm.... nice hangover food and cheap too!6 years ago
