Let's Go Crazy! Hen Weekends in Barcelona

A well-planned hen weekend in Barcelona might start with the checking in to a luxury hotel or apartment and quickly proceed to a bit of tanning on the sands (and don't forget your Gucci sunglasses for ogling Javier Bardem lookalikes as they work up a sweat playing volleyball). When you've got your eye candy for the afternoon you could retire to your hotel swimming pool or - if you're lucky - rooftop jacuzzi, whilst the chance to go shopping on the grand Passeig de Gracia, with its marvels of Modernista architecture is not to be missed. There's also plenty of trendy boutiques, or why not book your own personal shopper for the day to take you on a luxury shopping tour? Of course any self-respecting hen party needs some pampering action and a couple of hours at one of Barcelona's health spas is time well spent, especial if it includes a chakra stone, Thai or even chocolate massage.

Barcelona is much more than sun, soaking and shopping though. By night the Catalan capital is a hedonist's paradise. Amazing restaurants serving every kind of cuisine, hip cocktail bars rustling up divine liquid concoctions and plenty of glamorous nightclubs for an evening of dancing, flirting and (mild?) misbehaving.
