The restaurant of Le Meridien Hotel, CentOnze welcomes its guests right off the central Las Ramblas boulevard and into its chic light and modern interior for a dining experience that is both refined and affordable. Ingredients fresh from Barcelona's world-famous La Boqueria market are crafted into modern Catalan and international dishes and many of the plates change with the seasons, reflecting the market's best produce. Breast of duck with chestnut puree and mushrooms and grilled monkfish with roasted red pepper sauce are just two tantalising options on the a la carte menu, whilst a tasting menu of four delicious courses costs just 33 euros. If you find yourself on Las Ramblas around lunchtime then CentOnze's menu del dia (16 euros) is highly recommended, and includes three courses and a beverage.

Delicious. THe lunch time menu is a real bargain. We felt a bit underdressed as its such a nice place but the staff were great and the food was perfect! We were surprised how small the bill was.
