Miramelindo

|
A cult classic on the pretty Passeig del Born, Miramelindo is packed to its wooden rafters every weekend when hordes of talkative locals descend to make merry and take advantage of cheap homemade cocktails. Several flavours are mixed in big bowls on the bar and for 4 euros you can sample coconut and cognac concoctions or a screwdriver made with 'Cava' (Spanish champagne). If the bar area is packed you can often find a wicker chair on the mezzanine overlooking the action - just follow the spiral staircase by the piano. A rare treat for Barcelona, but Miramelindo's toilets are both clean and functioning! |
