The Best Photography Tours in Barcelona

Photography is one of life’s most enviable skills. The ability to capture fleeting moments and turn them into evocative and timeless memories is both internally satisfying and – let’s face it – great for showing off!

Learning how to take photos in a foreign city is even more satisfying than usual, as you get to explore a novel destination, full of new and surprising people, architecture and sights, at the same time as you improve your shutter skills.

So with Barcelona as your muse, sign up for one of the following experiences and capture the charms of the Great Enchantress with your DSLR, iPhone or even polaroid camera.

1. Shutter Kings Photo Tours

Take a long and leisurely stroll through the charismatic streets of Barcelona’s Old Town in the company of professional photographer, Fran Goncalves (or else one of his equally gifted team!), on a Shutter Kings walking photo tour. You’ll quickly be able to master all aspects of your DSLR with Fran’s help, from the basics – such as balancing that pesky exposure triangle – to more advanced techniques, and dealing with common photography problems, like shooting in difficult light. As you wonder through the back streets of Bohemian barrios like El Born, the Gothic Quarter and Raval, Fran will pose you little photographic challenges designed to improve your lens craft. By the end of this 2 hour experience you should have significantly improved your camera skills, as well as captured some arresting images of Barcelona. Prefer to shoot on an iPhone or Android device? Check out their Instagram Tour, on their website. Whatever you shoot with, this private tour is great value at just €95 per person.
