You can find this sociable new language school in the cosmopolitan Raval district, just 10 minutes walk or so from Las Ramblas, and even closer to the Sant Antoni metro station.

As much a community as a linguistic academy, World Class BCN offers a homely place to study, where making friends is easy and students can take part in any number of social activities such as tapas dinners, cooking classes, flamenco shows, salsa lessons and cultural tours of Barcelona.

Their Spanish classes are some of the most reasonably priced in the city, especially if you take into account they teach with a maximum of 10 students per class, and there are no additional fees for enrolment or books (unlike with many other schools).

Their teachers practise the immersion method of teaching, meaning you’ll start speaking castellano from day one, and their courses can take you all the way from A1 (beginner) to C2 (fluent) in accordance with the Common European Framework of References for Languages.
