For something truly bonkers get some mates together for a road trip to Bunol in August for La Tomatina Festival... or even take a car out to Pamplona for a week of mayhem at the legendary running of the bulls! Meanwhile avid winter sportsmen and women are well advised to rent a car and head out of Barcelona to the Pyrenees for great skiing and snowboarding facilities. Finally everyone knows a car is the beach bum's best friend... simply load the trunk with cervezas, jamon sandwiches and a cheap volleyball set (available at Decathlon!) and you're good to go!
