Barcelona Dream Hostel

Dream Hostel is a big name to live up to, but this idyllic retreat just five minutes from the beach certainly fits the bill. Its location away from the hubbub of the centre makes it an ideal place for those travellers who prefer chilling out to cramming in every tourist attraction in the city - and with golden sands and the Mediterranean sea just a short stroll away, who wants to visit churches and museums anyway? The hostel has a wide range of rooms from cosy doubles to dorms for up to 12 people, and all guests can enjoy free WiFi, breakfast and locker. A large common room provides the perfect environs for relaxing with new friends, whilst the metro is close at hand for when you do want to join the tourist trail.

i like this hostel the best of all i have stayed in for the last 3 years. air con a must, close to the beach, close to the metro, very cool art vibe happening. and the staff were very nice and helpful. ps. i loved that there was a guitar available.

we stayed 2 nights in a private room which was comfortable and clean and then 2 nights in a 6 bed-room which was great too. The whole experience was a good one and we particularly liked the fact that we were able to escape the bustle of the city and come 'home' in the evening, often for a quick swim and a wind down on the beach which was much less manic than the one in barcelona! thanks guys.

Fantastic hostel... excellent security and great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to other travellers. It is a little far out of the city but it´s a short metro ride away and no problem at all. Really enjoyed my stay here and would go back in a second.

Very good hostel, it's big, with different lounges. The cleanliness is almost perfect. The staff was great, fun and very helpful. The locker is also very good, with a card key. The only problem was the location, it's far from the center but there is a metro station right on the corner of the hostel, so you can get in every part of Barcelona in 20 minutes!

What a wonderful hostel it was. Private bathrooms and public ones...A free breakfast that reminds you of "home" and 5 minutes from a great beach that isn't too crowded. Will return if I'm back in Barcelona!!!
