Be Mar Hostel

One of four superb budget establishments in Barcelona from the famous BeHostels team, Mar Hostel is located in the heart of the vibrant Raval district, and is a perfect base for exploring the city. You're just five minutes from the famous Las Ramblas boulevards and the Gothic Quarter, with its ancient churches and plazas, whilst Raval itself offers plenty of attractions - such as the MACBA museum and plenty of hip and trendy bars. Inside the hostel you'll find dorm rooms of 6 to 16 beds, well-equipped with a/c, heating and WiFi, whilst the Mar also boasts a kitchen and common room for mingling with fellow backpackers, as well as three internet terminals if you are travelling without your laptop. The raval district is the real soul of Barcelona where skaters hipsters and every day people hang out. Always vibrant always crazy. This hostel lets you experience it all but also you're near enough to the centre to get to the beach, La Rambla, Gaudi's buildings etc. The hostel follows modern European protocols so you can access the Internet for free and have a free breakfast etc. Reception have plenty of tips on things to do. All in all very positive

The location of the Hostel was central so that is good. The staff was excellent, marty had the answers to EVERYTHING about Barcelona, he was great! it was pretty clean hostel not immaculate but not filthy either. everyone was friendly we made great friends and lots of memories.

I was able to meet a lot of different people coming from all around the world. the place is very clean and the staff is friendly.

We booked a double, ensuite room but what we got was an amazingly modern, clean and well equipped apartment. The location is very central and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using this place again if I go to Barcelona.

Friend environment with young people, the staff are also international, young, friendly and helpful. There is also laundry and free breakfast. Just a short walk from a metro station and the main street of barcelona. definitely recommended.

Great location in the heart of Barcelona in the crazy Raval district. I could stay foreva in BCN!!!
