Nest Hostel

One of four hostels from the Feet Up Hostels brand (one other in Barcelona, one in Valencia and one in Seville), Nest is certainly a comfortable place to call home for a few days. The dorm rooms are shared with 4-10 people, and prices start at just 16 euros a bed (although you will have to buy a padlock for your locker if you don't already own one), whilst the common areas such as the games room and rooftop terrace are perfect for mingling with your fellow travellers. The multi-lingual staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and although the location isn't too central you are very near to Estacio de Sants for arriving and departing from Barcelona.

"Enjoyed my stay at Nest Hostel a lot. Staff really were great, which IMHO is rare for a hostel, beds comfy, showers hot, roof terrace cool. I was a bit miffed when i spent 2.5 euros on the breakfast though which turned out to be some cardboard-like bread and Coco-pops. There are some nice shops across the road so just be sure to skip breakfast and you'll be happy here. Metro station (Badal) is close for getting into the Old Town and very quick, however metro stops at around midnight during week so you'll have to take a taxi, nightbus or wait for first metro if you are partying mid-week"
