"Great location. Poble Sec is one of my favourite parts of Barcelona and you can walk just 5 mins to Montjuic mountain with lovely views over the whole city. The staff were great. "

"Grau Hotel has a perfect location by the Rambla street and the rooms were very comfortable even though they were a little on the small side. FOr the price the accomodation was fantastic and the staff made us feel at home"

"A great time when we stayed at the Ramblas Hotel. It is not on Las Ramblas itself but Nou de la Rambla which joins at the bottom of Las Ramblas. On the street is Gaudi's Palau Guell"

"THere's no doubt that Hotel 1898 is a fine hotel, however the staff were a little aloof and being on Las Ramblas it was rather noisy at times. We did enjoy the views from the rooftop, especially at sunset, however for a more relaxing stay I might be tempted to find a hotel slightly off Las Ramblas for our next visit to Barcelona."

"Fantastic choice of value for money hotel in Gracia. I really enjoyed the neighborhood and we used the very reliable metro system to travel quickly back and forward to the Gothic Quarter. I would recommend Aparthotel Silver to anyone for its friendly staff and reasonable rates."

"Enjoyed my stay at Nest Hostel a lot. Staff really were great, which IMHO is rare for a hostel, beds comfy, showers hot, roof terrace cool. I was a bit miffed when i spent 2.5 euros on the breakfast though which turned out to be some cardboard-like bread and Coco-pops. There are some nice shops across the road so just be sure to skip breakfast and you'll be happy here. Metro station (Badal) is close for getting into the Old Town and very quick, however metro stops at around midnight during week so you'll have to take a taxi, nightbus or wait for first metro if you are partying mid-week"
