As the name implies, Barcelona eBikes dispense with the traditional bicycle and uses modern electric bikes instead. These power-assisted vehicles make cycling all day easy - even pedalling uphill is a doddle - which means you can travel further and explore more than from the saddle of a traditional two-wheeler. This small, personable company offers a total of four distinct tours. The first is La Sagrada Familia tour, where you cycle up to Gaudi's most famous monument and skip the lines (great news, as they are often up to two hours long!) to venture inside this unique basilica. The second is The Gaudi Tour (without Sagrada Familia entry), which takes a broader look at the works of this genius architect as well as a ride in the enchanting Parc de la Ciutadella. The third, a more alternative option, guides you through the lively districts of Raval and El Born, and finishes with fine wines and cheese at an absolute gem of a Spanish bodega (wine cellar). Finally there's the Montjuic Sunset Experience, which takes you up the slopes of Montjuic mountain for panoramic views over the city every Fri/Sat/Sun evening during summer. The meeting point for all tours is at the Gothic Cathedral (check map above) and you should book in advance via their website. All tours are led by an English-speaking guide who will teach you how to ride the electric bike before you set off (it takes about 2 mins to learn!), and naturally you can also find a more detailed itinerary of each route on their website.

Well Jairo was awesome!! Other then being really nice and sweet:)) he knows a lot about Barcelona, He told us some great history about gaudi and Barcelona and showed us all the hot guadi spots in the city, it was beautiful! he also knows exactly where to go to make the perfect picture:) i also think that in the first 5 min he understood/learned us more or less and knew what will be interesting for us... at the end he recommended some good local restaurant with great food (showed us where it was with the bike so will know how to get there). The ebike is very easy to handle and its fun! U see a lot in 2 hours without making a sweat:)

We enjoyed our first day in Barcelona by taking a bike tour. The tour was by the water front, instead of walking for miles we were on bikes and enjoyed the views. Our guide has an understanding of the area & made recommendation. We can't wait for our next bike tour.

Recently enjoyed the wine cellar tour, the highlight of which was of course was visiting the classic bodega full of character at the end of the tour. The bodega boss was such a purist that he forbade us to drink certain wines after certain other ones, and he selected us a fantastic sweet wine that tasted of figs, nuts and chocolate... delish! Overall a great experience in great company.

I did the Montjuic View Tour with Jairo which was fantastic fun. The vistas from the top of the mountain were fantastic, over the city, the sea and the port, and thanks to the bikes we got around very very easily indeed. They are great machines and you can go pretty fast if you want! The mountain is covered with lots of pretty gardens and historic buildings so there's plenty to see and talk about as well. Def. a great introduction to this part of Barcelona.
