Flamenco & Tapas email

One night, two essential components of Spanish culture: flamenco, the passionate gypsy song and dance synonymous with Spain, and tapas, the habit of eating a meal composed of small plates of delicacies to share. During this very special introduction to the country's most famous traditions, you'll first make your way to an authentic Barcelona flamenco house. Here professional singers/dancers and musicians will regale you with a sensational display of the art form at its finest. Passionate refrains, intense hand-clapping and foot-stopping and exquisite guitar playing assault the ears, just as precise dance moves and those swirling flamenco dresses hypnotise your eyes. An absolute must see. Afterwards you will be taken to a local bar/restaurant to sample up to 15 different types of tapas, from the famous pimientos del padron to chorizo al vino. This particular Flamenco & Tapas experience is probably the most cost effective in Barcelona at just 35 euros per person - less than half of what you might pay for a show at the pricey tablaos on the Ramblas. The experience begins at 8pm and runs every night of the year. As there is limited spaces, especially during the summer months, please email us in advance on to reserve, or to request more info.

Flamenco & Tapas

I thought this would be a good way to experience some real Spanish culture during a short trip to Barcelona and was pleased with the results. I'm not an expert in flamenco but the show was really entertaining and quite intimate as the venue is not too big. Given the low cost of the activity the tapas were surprisingly good... not the very best we had in Barcelona, but still very tasty. We met some nice people as well, and there was a mix of backpackers and young travellers, couples, families and different nationalities.

A mixed bag really. We were disappointed with the flamenco. We were squeezed into the little theatre which was very busy. The show seemed amateurish but was not too long . Afterwards we were taken to a very good tapas bar where we enjoyed a large selection of great tapas and sangria and fun chat with the others in the group. Unfortunately the young woman detailed to look after us was not very helpful . She left us immediately we arrived . She came back an hour or so later with a large group of friends but didn't talk to us again so we had no help finding our way back to our hotel

Both aspects of this night were excellent. The concert was particularly impressive and the meal gave us a chance to discuss the show with other members of our group and have some of the different dishes explained to us by our guide. Excellent value for money.

The flamenco show was fantastic and took place in a central location. Afterwards the food was a good chance to chat to some people about the show and taste Spanish cured meats, cheeses, peppers and other delicacies.

Great! We searched for ages to find a reasonably priced flamenco show and finally we found this experience - so the food was just a very pleasant bonus! Highly recommended.
