Magic Day Adventures website

we're on

Established by a professional guide who wanted to breath fresh air into the Barcelona tour industry, Magic Day Adventures are determined to deliver experiences above and beyond the ordinary excursion. Take their Montserrat tour for example. With MDA you begin the day with a delicious continental breakfast at a chiringuito (beach bar) on Barceloneta beach, before being driven in a comfy minibus (the max. group size is 12!) to the breathtaking Montserrat mountain, with its distinctive jagged facade, under which is nestled St. Benedictine's Abbey. Unlike other tours of Montserrat you will also explore the caves of Collbato, with the Devil's pool and the very stalactites that inspired Gaudi himself - sensational stuff! Magic Day Adventures are also the first tour company to offer guided walks of Montjuic hill in Barcelona itself, with is beautiful gardens, rich history and stunning cultural gems. Choose the evening tour and your walk will end in a spectacular display at the Magic Fountain. And, new for 2011, Magic Day Adventures are organising a stunning boat trip and wine-tasting day out at Spain's only urban winery just up the coast from Barcelona. Check their website for more info and prices.

Hi JJ, I want to thank you for the wonderful day you arranged for us. You and Dani were great. Lunch was really good and I really enjoyed the entire day. People need to know about you guys!! My photos of Parc guell and montserrat turned out good. I plan on coming back to barcelona in 2013 and want to do the cave trip you were talking about!

Just one of the best days out!!! Come along on the wine tasting tour and it was AMAZING!!! Truely Catalan Experience!!!!! We started at the beach in Barcelona having a very nice breakfast after that we travel to Alella nice mediterranean old town to visit a modernist winery. The views over the mediterranean with the contrast between the see and the mountains where AWESOME!!! After 2 and half hours of touring inside this winery we finish with the tasting of 4 sorts of wine. White, Rose who was fabulous very diferent to the ones I got before, red and one of the upper class as well. We eat a truely catalan lunch who was delicious!!! The guide was very good prepared and know a lot of Historical and cultural sights as things going on in and around Barcelona.
On the group we were only 8 people i loved it because it make the experience more personal if you do it with less people. Fantastic mediterranean views over the wineyards, a lot of interesting information, excelent food and good company.... I gone recomend MDA to my family and friends... Keep on Rockinnn!!!!!!

Thanks again JJ, I had a great time in Barcelona and I thoroughly enjoyed the bike-tour with you. I must say that the lunch you took me to made the whole tour extra special. I love good food and wine and that lunch there met every expectation - and then some. Definately one of the highlights of my trip. Perhaps you should consider adding it permanently to the tour, if you can fit it in? I realise that there is not much time to go inside the buildings we see on the tour but I really appreciated that you gave time to go inside Santa Maria del Mar, that was very special to me since I had read the book The Cathedral of the sea. Later during my stay I went to visit Sagrada Familia which was also a very special experience and beside Santa Maria del Mar definately the most interesting site to visit in Barcelona - a must see if you're a tourist in Barcelona.
