Gaudi Tour

|
The man whose ostentatious, larger-than-life buildings define the aesthetic of Barcelona, was every bit as fascinating as his creations. Antoni Gaudi was a sickly child and a difficult and obstinate adult: a Catalan nationalist, a devout Christian and an architectural genius he was oft-criticised during his lifetime but celebrated with a state funeral upon his death in 1926. Take this private tour of Gaudi's work in Barcelona and your expert, English-speaking guide will reveal the stories not only behind the rich Modernista facades of La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera - amongst others - but also the myths behind the man whose work became his obsession. An unmissable guided tour that gives a real insight into Gaudi and the indelible legacy his vision left on the Catalan capital of Barcelona. Email for prices and availability. |
