Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona
Despite a certain volcano (we won't mention any names, but that's only because we can't spell it) doing it's best to disrupt the F1 teams' preparations it seems it's all fuel ahead for this weekend's 2010 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
Fernando Alonso will be hoping to repeat his heroics of 2006 and claim his second ever victory in Spain, whilst the Circuit de Catalunya will also welcome back Michael Schumacher who clearly got bored of gardening and has returned to F1 after a three year break.
Defending champion Jensen Button will be the man to watch as he hopes to extend his lead at the top of the table, earned with victories in Australia and China, whilst Nico Rosbery, Alonso and Lewis Hamilton are amongst the chasing pack.
The heats start on the 7th May and the race will take place on the 9th. For info on how to get to Circuit de Catalunya consult our article: Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
