The current Barcelona football team have added to their glittering cabinet of trophies by winning the FIFA World Club Cup final in Abu Dhabi, by beating Estudiantes 2-1 in the final.
The Argentinean team took the lead in the first half through Mauro Boselli before Barca equalised via Pedro in the final minutes of normal time. With the tie in the balance it was the recently crowned footballer of the year Lionel Messi who decided the game 20 minutes into extra time by chesting the ball into the Estudiantes goal... thus sealing an early Christmas present for Pep Guardiola and FC Barcelona's legion of fans.
