Cruilla Celebrates 10th Birthday with Stellar Line Up
Starting life as a series of concerts in Mataro, Cruilla Festival moved to Barcelona in 2008, making 2017 its 10th edition in the Catalan capital. Like any landmark birthday it will be celebrated in style with nearly 50,000 people set to gather at the Parc del Forum for three days of musical mayhem.
In terms of star power, it's definitely the festival's best line up to date, with cosmic funkers Jamiroquai, Brit-trio Two Door Cinema Club and South Africa rebel misfits Die Antwoord ('The Answer') headlining on the Friday, and 80s synthesiser-pop giants Pet Shop Boys, twisted firestarters The Prodigy and American rocker Ryan Adams taking to the stage on Saturday.
In fact that's just the tip of the iceberg of a diverse roster that also includes Youssou N'Dour, Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul, The Lumineers, Parov Stelar, Ani DiFranco, Txarango, Kase.O, Dorian and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs amongst others, before the festival rounds up on the Sunday with concerts by Jain and Morat.
Tickets are reasonably priced at just 120 euros for three days, 72 euros for one day (Friday or Saturday) or 25 euros for the Sunday.
