New Order To Play At Sonar
Considered one of the most influential bands in history, New Order formed in 1980, evolving from the similarly acclaimed Joy Division after the death of lead singer Ian Curtis. They went on to blaze a trail for electronic-fused pop and were lead protagonists in the legendary Manchester dance scene of the time. And now they're coming to Barcelona to headline Sonar by Night on the 16th June!
Other acts that have been added to the Sonar 2012 programme are
South Africa's Die Antwoord, fresh from their triumphant performance last year, whilst James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, The 2 Bears and dj Untold are amongst the other excitng new annoucements.
