Please help!

Hello everyone,
My name is Chris Porter, I am 19 years old, and I live in Peterborough, England. I plan to come to Barcelona in September. I have been lucky enough to be asked to play for FCB field hockey team this season (2012/13), but due to the fact that field hockey is still an amateur sport there, the cost etc. is still a problem.
What I am looking for is somewhere to live from September 2012 to April 2013 (although I'll probably come home for christmas).
If anyone can please help me with either suggesting how to go about finding some sort of accommodation, or even inviting me to stay with them for a couple of months (PLEASE!! :) ) then I would be truly grateful. My e-mail address is chrisporter14@hotmail.com , or you can alternatively just reply on this forum.
Thank you for your time.
Chris

Hi Chris. Congrats on becoming a Barca player!!! Hope you'll prove to be the Messi of field hockey. I suggest you ask someone with a little bit of Spanish to go through Loquo.com with you... it's a popular site where people search for roommates / rooms (amongst other things) and you should be able to find something very basic in the 250-300 euros a month region, including bills. Suerte!
