Dia de Sant Jordi

Sant Jordi - or Saint George to you - is not only the patron saint of England but Catalonia too. South of the Pyrenees he's known for the same dragon-killing exploits however. Despite this, his special day is not celebrated by jousting competitions and the like but by flowers and books... men should buy women the former, and women should buy men the latter.
