In honor of the Santa Eulalia holiday, Barcelona puts on a display of light art called Llum BCN ("llum" is the Catalan word for "light). The city center is lit up and transformed by some very creative displays of art. This year's displays include a video mapping piece about love, a projection onto the front of Gaudi's La Pedrera, and a piece featuring a "rain of lights." Go down to Placa Sant Jaume to get started. The lights go on at 6:30 in the evening on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
