Paulatinamente Restaurant

|
This small bar-restaurant in Raval district, just near Las Ramblas, has a laidback atmosphere quite at odds with the frenetic pace of the world just outside its windows. Amidst an interior of white-washed walls, chic black tables and chairs and hanging ceiling lights patrons are free to peruse their well-priced Mediterranean/fusion cuisine at their leisure, and pick from tempting treats such as diced tuna in spicy chimi-churri salsa, Iberian puff pastry with cranberry sauce or homemade hamburgers with baby potatoes. And few regret the extra calories once they taste the chef's superb chocolate coulant! Paulatinamente's friendly English-speaking barstaff know how to mix a cocktail too and, as well as mojitos et al., you'll find 'Flying Toros' and 'Kicks in the Pants' aplenty, plus rotating cocktail of the day specials. The music consists of mixes made by local DJs, whilst there's also WiFi if you need to get online. Open from 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday, head down 7.30-9.30pm Tuesday to Friday for 2 for 1 on food!
