Sugar Bar

|
Sequestered in one of the Gothic Quarter's typically dark and narrow alleys, Sugar Bar has the vibe of a hip hard-to-find drinking den, even though it's no more than 20 seconds away from Placa Reial! A mix of tourists, ex-pats and locals cram into the tiny red interior on a nightly basis, either squishing together in a booth (such as the crimson-cushioned one in the window), or perching on bar stools, whilst the friendly bar staff dish out mojitos that don't cost a mint. Good tune selections, happy hour until 11pm (or all night on Tuesdays!) and great mingling opportunities make Sugar a sweet spot for starting the night. |
