Black Horse

A lifeline for expats in need of a traditional pint of ale, the Black Horse English Pub is one of the superior hangouts of its type in Barcelona. With darts, live sports (everything from Premiership football to Formula 1 and rugby), and a decent range of beers on tap the Black Horse recreates the friendly atmosphere of your local boozer back home and is a good place to pick up tips and making contacts with seasoned hands on the ex-pat scene. Locals are not excluded from the fun, and 'intercambio' language lessons take place on Fridays, whilst Sunday's pub quiz is rendered in both English and Spanish. That never happened at the Dog and Duck.
