This stylish new bar and bistro in Gracia comfortably lives up to its name, delivering a taste of the good life right here in Barcelona. Stepping into Belle Epoque off the street you first enter a rather luxurious yet cosy bar are; which, with its sofas, armchairs, beautiful woodwork and framed souvenirs (check out that Tintin memorabilia!), has the at once formal and yet relaxing atmosphere of a stately country lodge. After that a long corridor of dining tables has been given an English colonial vibe, inspired by the owner's trip to Africa; whilst at the very back, yet another space opens up - this time an American diner with cinema seating and a huge TV for watching sports. Whichever atmosphere you decide suits you best, the bar staff will be on hand to serve you drinks from a long cocktail menu and gin and tonics from one of twenty stocked gins. The unfussy food menu focuses on Tex Mex comfort food and amongst the fajitas, burgers and nachos the "Maxi Combo" snack plate stands out, especially if you're sharing.
Amazing bar and staff! Loved this cozy atmosphere. The patatas bravas are delicious.

We came across this pub off the way in the area and decided to have a gander inside. Such a cozy, beautiful place! You would never expect that from outside, no doubt this place is another secret that Gracia keeps hidden. Very good cocktails and nice ‘patatas bravas’ - spanish tapa -, and a good laugh with the staff, they're such nice guys. Will be back next time I'm in the city!
