we're on

The original wild child of the Barcelona nightlife scene, Les Enfants Club (also known simply as Disco Enfants) first opened its doors to revellers way back in 1965 - making it the longest running nightclub in the city by a distance. Centrally located, on a small side street off Nou de la Rambla (click on the map icon above for exact location), Enfants' small entrance reveals not one but two dancefloors for cutting shapes. In room 2, British DJ Ian Mac spins the best in 60s soul, 70s funk and disco, whilst in the main room you'll hear a foot-stomping mix of indie, pop rock and classics until early in the morning. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, and doesn't carry any of the pretenses of the more pijo (snobbish) clubs in Barcelona. Les Enfants is open Thursday (midnight to 5am, free entrance) and Fridays and Saturdays (1am to 6am, discount entrance which includes a free drink) and is the perfect way to round off a night checking out Barcelona's bars.

Les Enfants Club

Last Weekend my friends and I wanted to go out in the City and planned to go to Enfants. Once at the door the bouncer didn't let us in because: "one of us" was not allowed. We have a very multicultural Group of friends, we suspected that the reason he didn't want to let us in was because one of our friend is African. So we asked again, why we couldn't get in, but we weren't getting more than: " one of you is not allowed"
After few minuntes of asking why, and eventhough we knew the reason we wouldn't get in was because our firend was black. We had to leave and go somewhere else.
: The Enfants has been ridiculously selective with the People that is allowed to come in. I genually recomend to everyone to stay away from that shit hole.

A fantastic night out and one of the only places in Barcelona that hasn't become a victim of its own hype. The prices are really reasonable. Just 8 euros to get in on a saturday night and that includes a drink of your choice! Lots of cute girls, some great feelgood tunes. Perfect for students although I'm 30+ and I didn't feel old or out of place. A good antidote if you're sick of the places on the Port Olimpic etc.

This is a classic student venue for people who don't want to grow older like me! If you want to meet friendly people and dance all night its a great place without pretensions and good prices

Great club with relaxed and cool people going crazy. I particularly liked the fact that the music is not so loud that you can't talk... it makes the club much more sociable. As well as plenty of international tracks, some songs are Spanish rock which means Enfants has an authentic local vibe to it. Appropriate since this disco has been around for nearly 50 years!
