The diminutive Milk bar in Barcelona's Barri Gotic has been a congregation point for the city's resident international set, and hipper tourists, for a number of years now, and it's easy to see why. Everything is done with a touch of class, from the retro-chic wallpaper of 1950s designer Florence Broadhurst, to a tantalising cocktail menu of classics and originals that gets the taste buds purring - try the Whiskey Savage, Bling Bling or Boozy Rouge Beri if you don't believe us! And, as the bar is Irish owned, guests can also opt for a refreshing Magners cider or Guinness, as both are available by the bottle. Milk's kitchen also rustles up a mean dish or three (menu on their website), whilst a bigger badder version of the bar exists in Raval, in the shape of sister venue Marmalade. |
