Slow Barcelona website

we're on

Leading the charge in Barcelona's cocktail revolution, Slow Cocktails & Bote is part of a new generation of bars that are sexing up the mixed drink and combining classic elegance with modern trends. Visitors to Slow start by entering the main bar, where Francesc Bretau (recently ranked 4th best bartender in the world) mixes original cocktails liked Spiced Margaritas or White Dukes. With its low lights, great service and vintage decor, this is the perfect place to relax with a tasty beverage and sample treats from their menu of Spanish delicacies. Upstairs however you'll find a different vibe. Slow is the only dedicated cocktail bar in Barcelona to combine a lounge area with a nightclub, and here in the intimate 'Bote' you can dance to pop, indie, electro and r'n'b courtesy of their Adagio Pro and Martin Audio soundsystem, as well as revel in a spectacular LED light show. Also upstairs you'll find the secluded Candy Box room, where decadent murals and crimson horse leather grace the walls and a VIP atmosphere prevails: an excellent space for private events if you're coming to Barcelona for a special occasion.

Slow Barcelona

Classy place off the beaten tourist trail. Upscale but without intimidating. The bartenders all spoke great English.

popped by here the otehr day and tried the Chocolate Bubbles Cava cocktail. Delicious, tasted a bit like Terry's Chocolate Orange, but alcoholic. Very smart looking place, and both central but out of the touristic zone.
