we're on

If you're looking for everything you love about pubs back home, plus an outdoor terrace under the bright Mediterranean sun (the only Irish bar to have one in Barcelona!), you may have just found your perfect place. Flaherty's opened its doors in 2001, and since then has been an international meeting point for ex-pats and tourists keen on a pint of Guinness, good company and some truly great pub grub. An impressive range of beers (they have 13 on tap, plus more bottled varieties) is complemented by a menu of mouth-watering homemade meals, such as char-grilled chicken with creamy Irish whiskey sauce, their famous full Irish breakfast and their weekly Sunday Roast, a delicious gravy fest that is also a social occasion. As you would expect from any self-respecting Irish pub, there's live sports aplenty, whether you're a football, ice hockey, rugby or tiddlywinks fan, on five quality plasma screens and two giant projectors, whilst Flaherty's also boasts free WiFi and a separate pool room. Searching for something a bit lively at night? Swing by later for their fun-filled weekly Beer Pong tournament (Thursdays from 10pm), or Ladies Night (every Friday) where senoritas can take advantage of €3.50 cocktails all day right until closing time. Flaherty's frequently hosts special events with great offers on food and drinks, so keep abreast with developments via their Facebook page.

Flaherty's Irish Bar

Passed by on a sunny winter's day recently. Forgot what a lovely terrace they have here. It's a really good day time pub.

Nice Irish bar right in the city center. It's got plenty of space inside and a nice outside seating area too. Great place to watch soccer games!

Absolutely loved it! Amazing service and great food and drinks. Great Irish tunes and they showed the sports we asked for.
An absolute must!

It's a good place to spend time. Have a variety of beers and that draws much attention. In addition, the waiters are very friendly and fun, help you in what you need! It's a lively atmosphere totally recommend.

Was here to celebrate their 11th birthday party! Ordered a gin and tonic the size of a tank, then a couple pints of Guinness... lots of friendly folk milling around. DJ was playing some hip tunes too!

Nice pub, nice atmosphere, good screens good visibility. Guinness not bad, bangers and mash some of the best I've tasted! Was way too hot when I went but that was a sweltering day in August and pub was crowded for Barca vs Madrid. Overall I'd say Flahertys is one of the better irish pubs in Barcelona. My top tip is sneak into the back room if all the seats are taken in the main one. Much more room and there's table service and tv screens.

It’s a great place before going out cause you eat dinner there, have some drinks, meet with your friends and then head straight to the clubs. The location is perfect since it’s very central right at La Rambla, and basically next corner is Plaza Real with bars and clubs. Check out the flyer they give out, you’ll have a discount on drinks.

Okay, about the place; it's cheaper than the pubs on La Ramblas, having both better food and better prices. Food is quite good too, my burger meal was fulfilling... Im not much of a beer drinker, I had 5 euro mixed drinks.... I recommend Flaherty's before you head out to party.

I was in Barcelona last weekend with the company and I had a great time at your place. We was 28 drunken and noisy Norwegians who watched football on saturday and sunday (ManU on saturday and Liverpool on sunday) before we eat and drinked a little more. I've been in Madrid before but I think I come back to Barcelona again before I go to Madrid again and when I return to town I come to you again. I only met nice and friendly people at you place. Hope to see you soon

This pub has good location just next to the Ramblas. Shows live football and serves good food.
Has friendly bar staff and the atmosphere is buzzing…fun all round.
